More Great Things for The St. Cloud Amateur Radio Club!!


As of today, Thursday, September 17,2020, The St. Cloud Amateur Radio Club is the Proud New Control Operator of TWO NEW PREMIER REPEATERS!!

W0SV is now the control operator of the 1400 Foot Avon 443.500 (tone of 123.0), AND the 400 Foot Roosevelt Rd 443.450 (tone of 123.0).

Tony Abfalter, K0VSC-Lifetime Member of the club, has graciously allowed us to assume control of both repeaters.
Currently the 443.450 is down for maintenance, but will be up again soon with more power and less loss.

LAUREL VE Testing 09/12/20 Results

The first LAUREL testing session completed Saturday, 09/12/20 and its in the books.

It was a resounding success with the following results:
2 New Technician Class Licenses
1 Upgrade from Technician Class to General Class
1 Upgrade from Technician Class to Amateur Extra Class
1 Upgrade from Novice Class to Technician Class
1 Re-test from Cancelled Amateur Extra Class to Amateur Extra Class

All Licenses were Granted Monday Morning, 09/14/20 at 6:09 AM.

VE Testing

The St. Cloud Amateur Radio Club will be hosting Amateur Radio License Testing on Saturday, September 12th, 2020, at our Clubhouse.

The St. Cloud Amateur Radio Club is Covid-19 Compliant, and will require masks to be worn at all times. Temperatures will be taken with infrared thermometers.

We will be limiting the testing session to the First Five Testing Applicants.

Now is the time to start studying, pass your License Test, and become a Ham! Or, maybe it’s time to upgrade to General or Extra class.

You MUST pre-register in order to reserve your spot. No Walkins allowed.
