The St. Cloud Amateur Radio Club will be hosting FREE Amateur Radio License Testing on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at The Covid Fever Reliever Hamfest, located at The St. Cloud Armory, and administered via LAUREL VEC.

Pre-registration is preferred in order to reserve your spot. Walkins are permitted.

VE Testing


The St. Cloud Amateur Radio Club will be hosting Amateur Radio License Testing on Saturday January 15, 2022 starting at 10:00 AM at our Clubhouse.

The cost to test is $15.00. Re-test of the same class exam is an additional $15.00. If you pass an exam, the next class license exam is no charge. You MUST have an FRN to test. Pre-Registration is required by calling 320-333-7431. Please Leave A Message.

The St. Cloud Amateur Radio Club fulfills the needs and goodwill of the general public in the field of communications in time of natural disasters, such as in tornadoes, floods, earthquakes, and at the time of any other emergency that may occur. We also help with various events around the area providing radio support and manpower. Being a Ham is an incredibly fun and rewarding hobby. When you pass your Technician Test, you will receive your first year’s membership in the Club. That way, we can get to know you and help you get started in the Hobby. Join us and start a new adventure in Fun, Fellowship, and Community.

December General Meeting Get-Together 12/16/21

A Great Time Was Had By All!!!


This month’s General Meeting is on Thursday, December 16, 2021 @ 7:00 PM. We will not have a “Normal” General Meeting, but instead we will be having a “Get Together” Meeting to celebrate the Holidays.

We will have snacks and refreshments provided by the Club, and you may also bring something to share with the group.
