Zombie Apocalypse , Alien Invasion, Genetically Modified Giant Insects, Invasion Of The Lizard People, ARE YOU PREPARED?
Now that I have your attention, let’s get real about Preparedness!!
Bad weather, power outages, internet outages, loss of income due to unforeseen circumstances, supply shortages, are some of the things that can change the comfort of supply and demand we are all used to. Governments all around the world recommend their citizens to ‘Be Prepared’ with daily needs to get them through at the least, a few weeks, should they find themselves without power, or the ability to re-supply.
On Tuesday December 12, at 7PM, we will begin a class on ‘How To Be Prepared’. This class will run for approximately 5 weeks on Tuesday nights at 7 pm, (Excluding December 26) at the W0SV Clubhouse.
The topics will include, Water Collection, Purification, and Storage. Food Preparation and Long Term Storage. Lighting and Heating during a Power Outage. Nuclear Preparedness. Creating a Get Home or Bug Out Bag for use in a SHTF Situation. Personal and Property Safety/Security. Setting Up a Trusted Group or Community. Communications.
There is no cost to attend this class, and everyone is welcome.
