Well, we are going to give it a try!

8:00 AM – 10:00 AM Sibley State Park & Glacier Lakes State Trail (2 fer) [Meet at park at 8 AM]
10:30 AM – 12 noon Monson Lake State Park
12:30 PM – 2:30 PM Glacial Lakes State Park
3:00 PM – 5:00 PM Lake Carlos State Park
5:30 PM – 7:30 PM Birch Lake State Forest

Come and join us for all or part of the Day! Let’s have some FUN FUN FUN!!
No need to have equipment. Club will set up GoBox radio.
We will be running one station and getting everyone on the air who wants to participate.
EVERYONE, TECHS and UP can get on the air. We will be operating the W0SV call sign.

 

Amateur Radio License Testing

The St. Cloud Amateur Radio Club will be hosting No Charge Amateur Radio License Testing on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 10 AM at our Clubhouse administered via LAUREL VEC.

Pre-registration is preferred in order to reserve your spot. Walk-ins are permitted.

CW Class (Morse code) on Tuesdays at 7 pm


Learn Morse Code and how to operate a CW key!


Randy Welsand is teaching a CW (continuous wave/Morse Code) class on Tuesdays at 7 pm at the clubhouse. (Class started on January 30). Learn the “dit” and “dah” combinations which represent the Morse alphabet/number set. Learn to hear the rhythm of this type of communication.

Bring your own keyer – if you have one. A few extras will be available.
