CMEC Central MN Skywarn Training to be held “Virtually” 3/20/21 & 3/31/21

This year, we will be providing Skywarn Spotter Training “Virtually”. We are offering Central MN Skywarn Spotter Training open to the General Public. Our first Virtual Training Session will be held March 20, 2021 starting @ 12:00 pm, and should last about 2.5 hours.

Our second Virtual Training Session will be held Wednesday, March 31, 2021 starting @ 6:30 pm, and should last about 2.5 hours.

Pre-Registration is Required, and can be accessed HERE for either class.

Amateur Radio License Testing
Saturday March 27, 2021 at 10:00 AM

The St. Cloud Amateur Radio Club will be hosting Amateur Radio License Testing on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at our Clubhouse administered via LAUREL VEC. Pre-Registration Required.

The St. Cloud Amateur Radio Club is Covid-19 Compliant, and will require masks to be worn at all times. Temperatures will be taken with infrared thermometers.

We will be limiting the testing session to the First FIVE Testing Applicants.

You MUST pre-register in order to reserve your spot. No Walkins permitted.

Amateur Radio License Testing Saturday April 17, 2021 at 10:00 AM

VE Testing
The St. Cloud Amateur Radio Club will be hosting ARRL VEC Amateur Radio License Testing on Saturday April 17, 2021 starting at 10:00 AM at our Clubhouse.

The cost to test is $15.00. Re-test of the same class exam is an additional $15.00. If you pass an exam, the next class license exam is no charge. You MUST have an FRN to test and the session will be limited to 6 people testing. Pre-Registration is required by calling 320-333-7431. Please Leave A Message.

The St. Cloud Amateur Radio Club fulfills the needs and goodwill of the general public in the field of communications in time of natural disasters, such as in tornadoes, floods, earthquakes, and at the time of any other emergency that may occur. We also help with various events around the area providing radio support and manpower. Being a Ham is an incredibly fun and rewarding hobby. When you pass your Technician Test, you will receive your first year’s membership in the Club. That way, we can get to know you and help you get started in the Hobby. Join us and start a new adventure in Fun, Fellowship, and Community.
